Dendrochillum
Dendrochilum are due to their habit and the often long-hanging flower bunch also suitable for pots or baskets.
With about 120 species Dendrochilum is a fairly large orchid genus. Often they occur purposefully and exclusively in smaller areas of Southeast Asia. Dendrochilum are often very good in growth and regular bloomers with a strong scent.Their long flower spikes are attractive with the countless, dense small flowers. The individual species are often very similar.
Special orchid care instructions for Dendrochilum (Ddc.)
They prefer to grow half shady to shady and temperate. In the growing season from March to September, abundant watering is necessary. The substrate should never dry out completely. Always pay attention to a weak fertilization if at all. Use only liquid orchid fertilizer. During the winter months, the plants should have it as bright as possible, but should be less watered. Dendrochilum loves the day / night differences in temperature and thanks it with rich florets.
