Orchids direct from the grower's nursery

The Wichmann Orchid Centre guarantees you the highest quality at reasonable prices. The Wichmann nursery has been in existence since 1897 and is now the third generation to grow orchids. Only orchid pot plants are produced in our greenhouses in Celle. 90% of the plants grown here come from our own nursery or from the expert care of our partner nurseries.

As a recognised specialist company, we guarantee the authenticity of our products. Only strong and healthy plants leave our nursery. The orchid plants we offer come exclusively from German production or have been cultivated by us over a long period of time. They are artificially grown or vegetatively propagated from old stock and not taken from nature. German orchid growers practise practical species protection!

Furthermore, we produce 90 % CO2-neutral orchids, as we obtain our thermal energy from a neighbouring biogas plant. All other resources are also used sparingly in our family business.
