Many orchid lovers say: "I have never fertilized my orchids, I always give only a small cup of water and they flower superbly." This statement basically reflects only the modesty and robustness of an orchid. But also an orchid should be regularly and appropriately poured and fertilized. The emphasis here is on regular.
If you say, you water the orchids once a week, that means you can fertilize every 2 to 3 weeks. However, this should not be a normal flower or green plant fertilizer. It is important that a special orchid fertilizer with a special formulation is used. The dilution is very important too. We recommend 0.5 gr. Or 0.5 ml of fertilizer solution per liter of irrigation water.
