Any time again!
I planted my Vanilla planifolia variegata and a Vanilla tahitensis in this substrate (in a wick pot). Both plants have very lively leaf and root growth. I water them approx. every 7-10 days (depending on how moist the substrate is). The wick pot (lined with pumice and lava granules at the bottom so that the fine substrate is not washed out) holds the moisture well, but too much can drip off. My tahitensis, which I got without roots, also tolerated the substrate very well and is now growing very well. I would buy the substrate again at any time!
