Orchid Repotting Special

Wichmann’s Orchid Repotting Days are becoming increasingly popular.

Bring your orchids to the Wichmann Orchid Center, where they’ll be repotted at a special price. That way, your house orchid will continue to delight you in full bloom for many more years to come.

Orchids should be repotted every 1 1/2 years. We’ll give you tips and tricks from an orchid expert.

This year, 2026, the Orchid Repotting Event will take place again on April 10 and 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. As a special treat, you can enjoy the specialty cakes from Chocolaterie Baxmann while sipping a cup of tea or coffee.

Wichmann Orchid Center in Celle

One of Germany’s oldest and most renowned orchid companies. Founded in 1897, the business has specialized in the cultivation and care of orchids for generations and, with its approximately 8,000 m² of space, is now one of Europe’s leading orchid nurseries. It offers visitors an impressive variety of orchid species and hybrids across a 650 m² sales area. Today, it is run by the fourth generation of the family and is internationally renowned, in part due to awards won at exhibitions such as the Federal Horticultural Show.

Interested visitors can also take part in guided tours, during which we provide in-depth insights into our work, plant propagation, and plant care. This includes informative presentations and a tour of our greenhouses. In addition to orchids, our retail area offers a wide variety of green and flowering plants, as well as decorative accessories, planters, growing media, and orchid pots. In our online store, you’ll find all our products available for shipping throughout Germany and Europe.
