For all interested orchid owners, we’ve compiled a wealth of information about orchids. Take some time to perfect the care of your orchids at home.

There’s something for everyone. Each orchid seminar lasts 2.5 to 3 hours and always begins at 1:00 p.m. The participation fee for these seminars is €30.00. Each seminar begins with an informative tour of several selected greenhouses. Topics such as proper care on the windowsill, proper repotting, pest control, and many more are discussed. A coffee break followed by a presentation round out the orchid seminar.

In addition, on this seminar day only, each participant receives a 15% discount on purchases at the Orchid Center and a small orchid gift to take home as a souvenir.

You can view the current dates in the overview below. Register today—we look forward to seeing you!

Wichmann Orchid Center in Celle

One of Germany’s oldest and most renowned orchid companies. Founded in 1897, the business has specialized in the cultivation and care of orchids for generations and, with its approximately 8,000 m² of space, is now one of Europe’s leading orchid nurseries. It offers visitors an impressive variety of orchid species and hybrids across a 650 m² sales area. Today, it is run by the fourth generation of the family and is internationally renowned, in part due to awards won at exhibitions such as the Federal Horticultural Show.

Interested visitors can also take part in guided tours, during which we provide in-depth insights into our work, plant propagation, and plant care. This includes informative presentations and a tour of our greenhouses. In addition to orchids, our retail area offers a wide variety of green and flowering plants, as well as decorative accessories, planters, growing media, and orchid pots. In our online store, you’ll find all our products available for shipping throughout Germany and Europe.
