Unfortunately, the Orchid Summer Festival has been canceled in 2020!

Of course, the orchids take center stage, but a craft fair will also delight you with attractions both big and small.

We would like to extend a warm invitation to you, your friends, and your acquaintances. Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Artisans from various fields will be participating, including felt art, pottery, photo greeting cards, jewelry, and much more.

Here’s a brief excerpt from our summer festival program:

Of course, there are also plenty of bargains at the Orchid Center, and free guided tours will keep you captivated.

A Tour of the Nursery with the Expert:

Friday: 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m.

Saturday: 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m.

Sunday: 11:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m.

Of course, refreshments will also be available. In addition to coffee and cake from Cafe Müller, you can also treat yourself at a barbecue and beverage stand run by Betz. Proceeds from the sale of food and beverages will be donated to the Rotary Club Celle-Schloss to support aid projects.

Wichmann Orchid Center in Celle

One of Germany’s oldest and most renowned orchid companies. Founded in 1897, the business has specialized in the cultivation and care of orchids for generations and, with its approximately 8,000 m² of space, is now one of Europe’s leading orchid nurseries. It offers visitors an impressive variety of orchid species and hybrids across a 650 m² sales area. Today, it is run by the fourth generation of the family and is internationally renowned, in part due to awards won at exhibitions such as the Federal Horticultural Show.

Interested visitors can also take part in guided tours, during which we provide in-depth insights into our work, plant propagation, and plant care. This includes informative presentations and a tour of our greenhouses. In addition to orchids, our retail area offers a wide variety of green and flowering plants, as well as decorative accessories, planters, growing media, and orchid pots. In our online store, you’ll find all our products available for shipping throughout Germany and Europe.
