A successful surprise.
I received the Onc. Misaki Obry as a young plant, ready to flower in 1-2 years, yesterday. As always, super packaging and very fast. To my surprise, the plant already has a flowering shoot. I'm looking forward to the flowering.

Fantastic fragrance
For once, I didn't order this Ochi from the Wichmanns, but was able to get hold of it in a flower shop and it is one of my absolute favourites among my more than 100 orchids.
The flowers are numerous every year....small and airy. The scent is pleasantly sweet and vanilla-warm, but not overpowering.
I keep it in a very bright spot by a window with full afternoon sun but shaded by a fly screen and slightly shaded by other orchid leaves. Last year 2 new plant shoots with 2 flower stems each appeared, this year there are 3 plant shoots. I'm really looking forward to the next flowering.
The flowers last for several weeks and really are a dream.
I will order this orchid when I get the chance to give it as a gift.
Really easy to care for, space-saving and beautiful... :)
