The Orchitop is a completely new, innovative planter that mimics the natural living conditions of epiphytic orchids such as Phalaenopsis, Cattleya, Dendrobium, Odontoglossum, ... and their cultivars. The plants grow as they would in their natural habitat and reward you with healthy growth and abundant blooms. But earth orchids such as the lady's slipper also feel at home in the Orchitop. Watering mistakes – the most common cause of death for orchids in indoor cultivation – are virtually eliminated.
1. 6 new colours (yellow, pink, purple, turquoise, burgundy, orange) are available – so with a total of 10 colours it offers even more design possibilities than before and matches the various flower colours perfectly.
2. There is a screw cap on the base of the pot. This means that the newly developed saucer can be firmly connected to the Orchitop.
3. It is available in 3 sizes: the standard size is the Orchitop M, the Orchitop S is available for minis/young plants and larger plants will find a suitable home in the Orchitop L.
The saucer fulfils several functions: on the one hand, it ensures the Orchitop is always central and on the other, the volume of the saucer is optimised for watering from below. It is also designed so that almost all the water/fertiliser solution can be absorbed by the capillary action of the substrate. If you water from above, the surface is no longer soiled by water running through in the event of excess water – regardless of whether you use the Orchitop standing or hanging.
