The 13-5-20 fertiliser is a professional-grade product. It is recommended, as it is a salt-based fertiliser, that you use an EC meter.
EC = electrical conductivity. The more salt is dissolved in the water, the higher the conductivity.
As a rough guide, 1 g of fertiliser per litre of water results in an EC value of 1. However, this can vary, as different fertilisers have different base values.
Please prepare a stock solution and then, whilst taking measurements, add the stock solution to the watering water and top up with water if necessary so that the watering water does not exceed an EC value of 0.5-0.8 (500-800 microsiemens).
