The 13-5-20 fertiliser is a professional-grade fertiliser. As it is a salt-based fertiliser, it is recommended that you use an EC meter.
EC = electrical conductivity. The more salt dissolved in the water, the higher the conductivity.
As a rough guide, 1 g of fertiliser per litre of water results in an EC value of 1. However, this can vary as different fertilisers have different base values.
Please prepare a stock solution and then, whilst measuring, add the stock solution to the watering solution and top up with water if necessary, so that the watering solution does not exceed an EC value of 0.5–0.8 (500–800 microsiemens).
