Addendum
After the panicle has grown to 75(!!) cm, the lowest bud has opened. A wonderfully delicately veined flower with strong markings and no perceptible odour. I can only highly recommend this orchid. When caring for it, pay attention to the upper root shoots and lower bulb ends, which are slightly susceptible to fluffy white mould.

Moment of surprise
Eulophia, or Oeceoclades saundersiana, there are several synonyms for this variety, arrived in a rather large package and turned out to be an insider tip. In the descriptions of various orchid guides, its flower stalk panicle is given as having a maximum length of 30cm, this one has now reached a height of 65cm (!) and continues to grow in height as the buds are not yet fully formed. It is estimated that there are 20 buds on the spike. I'll provide a small update on the flowering, but I'm already absolutely thrilled with this vigorous orchid, an unexpected joy :)
