Aerangis

Aerangis is a growth-restricted and epiphytic growing orchid species with aerial roots.

It is originally from Africa and Madagascar. Partly they also grow in nature at cooler altitudes. The genus includes nearly 60 naturally occurring species..

Special orchid care notes for Aerangis

Aerangis thrive best on a piece of wood or cork. Daily spraying, sometimes with special fertilizer, is very important. In the dark season (November - February) should not be fertilized. Use hand-hot water. A high relative humidity is ideal. Aerangis loves a bright, half-shady and warm location. Strong leaf heating should be avoided.
