Oncidium
Regularly during the summer months, this attractive orchid drives new plant shoots and flowers shortly thereafter.
Over 500 species has this genus. Most of them can be found in Central and South America. They grow almost exclusively epiphytically on trees and shrubs. Accordingly, always choose an airy and coarse orchid substrate. Oncidium is available in a variety of yellow shades with long panicles. But also small and colorful varieties belong to this genus and were bred over the years. With its simple care requirements, it is one of the ideal orchids for the home and windowsills.
